29 September 2026, Brussels – The fourth annual conference organized by the All NEMO Committee, representing all Nominated Electricity Market Operators (NEMOs) in Europe, was held in Brussels, with the participation of Zoran Gjorgjievski, CEO of the National Electricity Market Operator – MEMO.

The conference brought together key stakeholders from European electricity markets, including representatives of the European Union and the Energy Community Contracting Parties from the Western Balkans, with the aim of exchanging experiences and discussing the further development and integration of the European electricity market. The Chair of the Committee, Rafael Gómez-Elvira González, opened the conference with a welcome address.

The discussions focused on current processes and challenges shaping the European electricity market, including the implementation of the 15-minute Market Time Unit (MTU) in the Day-Ahead market, as well as its full implementation in the Intraday market.

The panel discussions provided an opportunity to exchange views and expert insights on the future of European electricity markets, further market integration, and the enhancement of cross-border trading mechanisms.

MEMO’s participation in such international events provides an opportunity to actively follow European trends, exchange experiences, and contribute to processes aimed at further integrating the electricity market.
