According to data from the National Electricity Market Operator (MEMO), in July 2026, 440 GWh of electricity was sold to meet the country’s total electricity consumption, excluding losses (net consumption).

Transactions from domestic production amounted to 461 GWh.

ESM contributed the largest share at 206 GWh (44.7%), followed by aggregators at 155 GWh (33.6%), independent producers at 71 GWh (15.4%), and renewable electricity producers with a feed-in tariff (FIT) at 29 GWh (6.3%).

The share of domestic electricity generation in total net consumption in July 2026 was 100%.
