According to data from the National Electricity Market Operator (MEMO), in June 2026, 407 GWh of electricity was sold to meet the country’s total electricity consumption, excluding losses, i.e., net consumption.
Transactions from domestic production amounted to 409 GWh.
ESM contributed the largest share with 169 GWh (41.4%), followed by aggregators with 144 GWh (35.2%), independent producers with 61 GWh (14.8%), and renewable electricity producers with a feed-in tariff (FIT) with 35 GWh (8.6%).
The share of domestic electricity generation in total net consumption in June 2026 was 100%.
