According to data from the National Electricity Market Operator (MEMO), in March 2026, 562 GWh of electricity was sold to meet the country’s total electricity consumption, excluding losses, i.e., net consumption.

Transactions from domestic production amounted to 505 GWh.

ESM contributed the largest share with 300 GWh (59.5%), followed by aggregators with 102 GWh (20.2%), independent producers with 58 GWh (11.5%), and renewable electricity producers with a feed-in tariff (FIT) with 56 GWh (10.5%).

The share of domestic electricity generation in total net consumption in March 2026 was 89.9%.
