According to data from the National Electricity Market Operator (MEMO), in October 2025, 489 GWh of electricity was sold to meet the country’s total electricity consumption, excluding losses, i.e., net consumption.
Transactions from domestic production amounted to 528 GWh. ESM contributed the largest share with 256 GWh (48.5%), followed by independent producers with 178 GWh (33.8%), virtual producers with 58 GWh (11.0%), and renewable electricity producers with a feed-in tariff (FIT) of 35 GWh (6.7%).
The share of domestic electricity production in net consumption is 100%.
