According to data from the National Electricity Market Operator (MEMO), in September 2025, 396 GWh of electricity was sold to meet the country’s total electricity consumption, excluding losses, i.e., net consumption.
Transactions from domestic production amounted to 457 GWh. ESM contributed the largest share with 204 GWh (44.6%), followed by independent producers with 136 GWh (29.7%), virtual producers with 95 GWh (20.9%), and renewable electricity producers with a feed-in tariff (FIT) of 22 GWh (4.8%).
The share of domestic electricity production in net consumption is 100%.
