At the Ministry of Energy, Mining, and Mineral Resources, a coordination meeting was held with all key institutions from the energy sector.

At the meeting, attended by Coordinator Elizabeta Giovska and the CEO of MEMO LLC, Skopje, Zoran Gjorgjievski, the ongoing activities for market coupling were presented. This initiative will contribute to greater competitiveness, more efficient price formation, and access to the European market.

Gjorgjievski also pointed out that the development of the Intraday Market is underway, with its launch expected in the second quarter of 2026. Regarding the Guarantees of Origin, he highlighted the strong interest, noting that more than 122. 000 Guarantees have been issued since April.

The meeting also reviewed the current situation with energy sources, as well as measures to ensure reliable supply of heating and electricity during the upcoming winter.

By introducing regular coordination meetings, the Ministry is establishing a new system that will provide greater security and stability in the energy sector.
