Apart from the Law on Energy, which created the legal framework for the functioning of the electricity sector in the Republic of Macedonia, there are acts that determine in detail the position and mutual relations of all participants in the electricity market.

For definition of the positions, privileges, and obligations of the participants in the electricity market, as well as for the regulation of mutual relations, there are subordinate legal acts that regulate this matter. In the Appendix you can find all the relevant laws and by-laws that enable the proper operation of the electricity market
