This creates conditions for clearer valuation of the environmental attributes of electricity and provides renewable energy producers with greater opportunities to monetise the environmental value of their production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the first auction, titled <strong>\u201cMEMO FiT \u2013 Wind,\u201d<\/strong> 35,000 Guarantees of Origin for electricity generated from wind power were offered, of which 34.000 were sold at an average price of 0,35 EUR. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By holding the first auction, MEMO made a concrete step forward in implementing the Reform Agenda, specifically in the area concerning the establishment of a system for trading Guarantees of Origin. This activity forms part of broader efforts to improve market mechanisms, increase transparency, and align with European practices in the energy sector and the development of the green energy market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By putting the auction trading system into operation, MEMO contributes to the development of a more organised and competitive market in which market signals will enable a more realistic valuation of Guarantees of Origin and the environmental benefits of electricity generation from renewable energy sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Guarantees of Origin are an instrument certifying that a specific quantity of electricity has been generated from a particular energy source.
