This does not include the amounts of electricity activated in the balancing energy market, managed by JSC MEPSO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Independent producers<\/strong> contributed <strong>181 GWh<\/strong>, representing the largest share at <strong>42%<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>ESM<\/strong> followed with <strong>166 GWh<\/strong> or <strong>37%<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Virtual producers<\/strong> supplied <strong>69 GWh<\/strong>, making up <strong>16%<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Preferential electricity producers<\/strong> that use a preferential tariff provided <strong>24 GWh<\/strong>, accounting for <strong>5%<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Of the total domestic production, <strong>67%<\/strong> (or <strong>288 GWh<\/strong>) was used to meet gross consumption needs, while <strong>34%<\/strong> (or <strong>151 GWh<\/strong>) was exported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>gross electricity consumption<\/strong> in North Macedonia was <strong>440 GWh<\/strong>, of which:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>66%<\/strong> (or <strong>289 GWh<\/strong>) came from domestic production,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and <strong>34%<\/strong> (or <strong>152 GWh<\/strong>) was imported.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the information provided, transactions in the electricity market from our domestic production fully met the total consumption needs in our country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To cover <strong>net electricity consumption<\/strong> (excluding losses), <strong>399 GWh<\/strong> was sold:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>53%<\/strong> to tariff consumers,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>38%<\/strong> to supplied consumers,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>9%<\/strong> to direct consumers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The system reported <strong>42 GWh<\/strong> in losses, representing <strong>9%<\/strong> of the country&#8217;s gross consumption.
